I’m Kate, and the good looking guy on my left is my husband Eric. When this blog started we were far from the location of the woodsy photo you see above. About 2700 miles east of that spot to be exact, in a crazy east coast city, where we lived in an old rowhome (est. 1904) with our dog, Effie.
Living in the city, in our tiny rowhome, had a tendency to make us a bit stir crazy at times. That’s because Eric always dreamed of ski slopes, casting lures, and smoking beef jerky. As for me, I dreamed of sprawling greenery, snow-capped mountains, and trails to explore.
To get us closer to our next adventure and living our dreams, we invested in our careers and fixed up our house. And now that we are in living in our new adventure (and loving it!), I’ve learned that dreaming, investing, and dreaming is never-ending!
